FOO FIGHTERS BRISBANE & CHRISTCHURCH CHARITY GIGS SELL OUT
Tickets to the Foo Fighters, You Am I and Cloud Control charity concert to be held this Sunday 27 March at Brisbane’s Riverstage were snapped up in just 15 minutes this morning.
With all proceeds going to the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal, the result is a fantastic one.
Concert promoter Michael Gudinski, from The Frontier Touring Company, said: “I knew the tickets would sell within minutes. For those that have secured tickets I’m confident this will be one of the most special shows they will ever see.
“Auckland sold out within minutes on Friday and it’s great to see Brisbane do the same. The Foo Fighters were so keen to help those affected by the disasters in Queensland and Christchurch so they’re going to be very happy with this result.”
200 last tickets will be released on sale on Friday 24 March at 9am QLD time in an effort to deter scalping. A strict limit of 2 tickets per person will apply.
All profits from the Brisbane concert will go to the Queensland Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal and all profits from the Auckland concert will go to the New Zealand Government’s Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
