Gold Coast-via-Tasmanian boys My Escapade are asking their fans to let their minds escape with them, to be lead away to a place of musical nirvana.  Their new single 'Of a Future' will see My Escapade take their new music all over South-East Queensland as a prequel to a further tour to promote the follow up EP to their debut Soul's Reflection, with the yet unreleased EP Seasons Shifting in 2011.

Loganholme, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Toowoomba will all get a taste of the forthcoming release and the new single from Wednesday 17th through to Saturday 27th of November.

My Escapade possess a unique sound that has been  described as "energised", "well composed" and "hauntingly beautiful" (Rave Magazine, Brisbane), and the band's live show is "quick to garner attention" performing with a "comfortable, self-assured presence justified with a strong and emotive set from start to finish", (Time Off, Brisbane). 

It was this sound that attracted acclaimed Australian producer, Paul McKercher, who has previously worked with artists such as Eskimo Joe, Sarah Blasko and Little Birdy.  In mid 2010 he mixed, engineered, and re-tracked 6 songs with the band at the Griffith University Conservatorium of Music's Gold Coast studios.  The tracks were then sent to the UK for mastering by John Davis, who worked with artists such as Florence and The Machine (Lungs) and Editors (An End Has a Start).

My Escapade have had a year that most emerging artists would envy: including record breaking downloads as iTunes Single of the Week (April 2010) and music synchronization opportunities with television networks and series (Seven Network & Australia's Greatest Athlete).

Coming along on the 5 date tour are 5-piece Brisbane indie-rock outfit Tinian's Boy, who have impressed audiences and built up a following on a number of dates across South East Qld with their wild stage show and enigmatic brand of rock and roll. Tinian’s Boy followed a steady run of shows by releasing the teaser single “The Sea Orchids/Burning Castles” in early July, both tracks featuring on their upcoming EP "The Animal", to be launched in January at the Zoo.
