East Brunswick All Girls Choir team with Departed Sounds and announce farewell show

EBAGC

East Brunswick All Girls Choir team with Departed Sounds
After independently releasing the highly regarded (mini) album 'Dead Air' back in 2009, EBAGC recently signed with new Melbourne label Departed Sounds for the release of their debut album 'Sandhurst Town'.

Recorded in a warehouse in Fairfield, Melbourne, with friend and sound engineer James Tulczyn, 'Sandhurst Town' features 8 tracks of filth, crime, necessity and greed.

Leading track 'Essendon 1986' will be available as a free download on Nov 20 through www.departedsounds.com. EBAGC will spend the majority of 2011 in Berlin but not before throwing a farewell / single launch at Melbourne's NSC on Dec 17.

'Sandhurst Town' will be available early April 2011 in digital, CD and vinyl formats with distribution through Other Tongues.

Message from the band:
East Brunswick All Girls Choir will be leaving for a while, making good time across the plains. Seeing sights, slashing wrists, finding new shackles. There will be some new hits in the bindle weighing us down, teasing us.

We will be playing our new album in it's entirety, from start to finish when we host our farewell show at Melbourne's NSC. There will be no old classics only the new, sometimes you have just got to say goodbye.
