Melbourne indie champs, British India, proved to be one of the highlights at the recent
One Movement Festival in Western Australia. The boys played 3 shows over the
weekend, with the explosive performance at Perth's Esplanade concert on the
Saturday night in front of several thousand enthusiastic fans a definite highlight.
Saturday's outstanding performance won the band unwavering attention
from promoters and record labels around the globe including Japan,
England, Ireland, Australia and the USA.
The boys were immediately booked to play Hollywood showcase
MUSEXPO in LA in May 2011 and The Crawdaddy Club in Dublin
Ireland, as part of their upcoming UK tour .
The boys are in London this week for a 9 date tour to launch their first UK EP
release 'Vanilla' featuring 4 tracks from their recent album 'Avalanche',
where they will undoubtedly educate the poms about Australian garage rock.
Don’t worry though, British India will be back in Australia soon enough.
The New Year will see the boys return with a kick-ass new single and an
extensive regional tour across Australia, as well as a few hand-picked
city shows, previewing new songs to their loyal fans.
AVALANCHE is out now through Shock.
