What happens when you get two of the hottest up and coming blues/rock bands and put them together on a tour?
A night out of mind blowing grooves, sweat filled dance floors and insane musicianship which leaves you waking up the next day wanting to drive to the next town to see the show again!
Black Devil Yard Boss (BDYB) (pictured) and The Delta Riggs are joining forces to make this a reality. YES it will be edgy, YES it will be hairy and YES it will be rocking!!!
2010 saw BDYB support Dead Letter Circus around Australia and support Shihad on their national album tour, plus BDYB was featured as one of the top bands to watch in 2011 by Blunt magazine.
BDYB have received rave reviews for their 3 piece powerhouse live show and energetic riffage! The band are about to enter the studio with pre-eminent rock & roll producer Lindsay Gravina (The Living End, The Fumes etc) to capture their next release.
Releasing their debut s/t EP in March 2010, The Delta Riggs spent the year, building a solid reputation as a raucous live act through relentless touring up & down the eastern seaboard.
In December, The Delta Riggs headed into BJB Studios to record with Scott Horscroft (Silverchair, Presets, Temper Trap & Birds of Tokyo) on production & mixing duties. What emerged is a punchy new track called Pretty Wasting, which reveals an edgy, punk energy that sits along their rhythm & blues heritage..
Coinciding with this new song was a step up to larger stages, with The ‘Riggs opening for Guns ‘n’ Roses @ ANZ Stadium + appearances at Peats Ridge & Big Day Out festivals over the summer period..
The FOUR TO THE FLOOR TOUR is going to be a soul-cleansing, ass-shaking, smile-making, audio love fest. See you on tour!
