http://www.sacredshrines.net

Genre:
Psychedelic garage rock ‘n’ roll

Members:
Ziggy: Bass, Chester: Guitars, Dorian: Guitars and Vocals, Beata: Keyboards and Vocals, Matteo: Drums

What music or artists inspired your band?
13th Floor Elevators, The Electric Prunes, Love, Soundtrack of Our Lives, The Seeds, Tomorrow, My Bloody Valentine, Jimi Hendrix, Stone Roses, The Stooges, Sparklehorse, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys.

How did the band get started?
We were all really good friends that hung out all the time, each of us played in bands, then those bands split up, so we combined the friendship and the musical ability.

How would you best describe your live show:
Loud, noisy yet tight, wall of sound, fun.

What shows do you have coming up?
We just supported Dandy Warhols and Upsidedown at the tivoli, so we’re recording our debut record at the moment, we’ll be putting together a single release show soon.

Tell us about your latest release:
We just released a video for Hung Up On Your wall which is the 2nd single off a double A side 7 inch that we put out at the start of the year. Like all videos we do, this was shot by the band, directed and edited by our singer. We’re basically in a psychedelic teleporting tepee.

Where can I get your music?
Bandcamp has the digital release and will have more digital releases in future. You can also get the physical vinyl from the shop on our Facebook page and just click on the store button.
