Yesterday the annual Brisbane festival BIGSOUND announced its first speakers and performers for the September 2013 event, and to celebrate the organisers headed to Sydney to put on a launch party featuring performances from Little Bastard and Spit Syndicate at one of Sydney's newest hot spots, The Soda Factory. We all enjoyed some performances, some hot dogs and sliders and now we look forward to further announcements later in the year... Jinja Safari aren't usually seen cramped into a small stage, playing acoustically, without room to jump around and climb onto nearby structures. But that's exactly the circumstances they found themselves in when they previewed a few songs off their forthcoming debut record at a private event at Sydney's new Rock n' Roll bar: Vasco's. And truth be told, it couldn't have been more entertaining, as we all enjoyed their signature "Jinger" cockail.
