Saturday Night saw Fat Shans Music playing host to one of the most talented people I have ever met. Sam Perry was releasing his new single "The World Won't Wait" to a small but very appreciative audience who crowed into the local treasure trove that is Fat Shans Music.

To get the crowd warmed up, Brian Kruger aka The Empty Cup got everyone well and truly into the mood with a freestyle rap performance that blew my socks well and truly into next week. The rhymes were sheer brilliance and the beats sublime and with a very engaging personality, The Empty Cup had everyone begging for more.

Next up, Sam Perry took to the stage (ie floor) and proceeded to dazzle everyone with his mixture of live effect looping and vocal wizardry as he created song after son g in front of our very eyes and ears.

I have been a fan of the soulful tunes that Perry creates for some time now, but it constantly amazes me how he grows and evolves each time I see him. A true talent that is beginning to make the world sit up and take notice.... and rightfully so.
