A SHORT REVIEW OF THE EVENING:

An excellent start to the night was brought by local band Young Braves. I had never heard of these guys before but a funky rock sound and an amazing vocalist left me wanting to hear a lot more! Very impressed.

Next up was another local band Sydney Girls Choir. Not a bad sound coming from this band but I wasn't totally enthralled, beer time?

Finally taking the stage, Brittle, hailing from Melbourne, showed true professionalism in their performance. Every song was performed with precision, no hiccups at all throughout their set.

The Grand Hotel was prescribed a good combination of old and new songs from Brittle, an old favourite of mine, "Hello Sun" was a highlight, as was newer track "Chinese Whispers". Brittle is a solid pop rock act, I can definitely see these guys being the next Kisschasy.
