Who cares if it's Sunday? Gold Coast-ers still flocked to the Cooly to rock out with Bluejuice and the Aston Shuffle on their "Sizzling 2012" tour, complete with beach towels, plenty of dancing and a whole lot of fluoro tape. Erin Smith brings you these photos.

The burning sun and heat inside the tent told me it was time to get up and get going for day number two of Pyramid Rock. It was a beautiful day on sunny Phillip Island and the breeze off the ocean made for perfect festival conditions.

The last day of The Queenscliff Music Festival thankfully provided some welcome respite from the rain, in fact the sun was out and we could once again walk the streets of the pretty little town on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Upon arrival at the festival grounds, Kimbra, the woman out of the moment, was in full flight, belting out a selection of tunes from her hit debut Vows, as well as some newer material.

Day 2 of The Queenscliff Music Festival began with surprisingly drinkable coffee from a van, and an interesting discussion about the current state of the Australian music industry at The Vue Grand, a beautiful hotel in the middle of town, which was organised by Music Victoria and mediated by its CEO, Patrick Donovan.

Damn it Gold Coast.
You've let me down again.
Two amazing Aussie bands are co-headlining a must see tour around this fair country of ours and where are you all? Definitely not out supporting the local music industry that's for sure.
Saturday night saw The Vasco Era and Papa vs Pretty stopping off at Cooly Pub for a bit of music and mayhem, playing to a small, but fun and appreciative crowd.

Co-headliners Papa vs Pretty and The Vasco Era brought their thrashing show to the Cooly Hotel. Erin Smith brings you these photos from the fantastic night.
