Just announced to play Peats Ridge festival over this New Year’s Eve, Sydney’s Cameras have announced they will head out on an east-coast tour this November. Currently winning fans in the USA playing at LA’s Culture Collide and the CMJ showcase in New York, their Australian tour will be in support of their debut album In Your Room, which is out this October 28 through Inertia.

With the video for first single “Defeatist” premiering on MTV USA last month and being named Rage’s Indie Clip Of The Week last week, the band have been wowing fans on their current tour, with the LA weekly stating “It's sometimes tinted with New Romanticism, other times baroque pop and on rare but welcome moments, surf rock. It's both vampiric and faerie-like, and Cameras have the ability to translate these polar qualities into gorgeous musical notes and chord progressions."

Having toured with art rock legends Roxy Music and played festivals including the Big Day Out, Creative Sydney Festival at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Southbound, One Movement, Peats Ridge and Playground Weekender Festivals, Cameras are set to wow fans with their dark, atmospheric and eclectic debut album, In Your Room.
