Skid Row's Sebastian Bach returns to Australia for the first time in 7 years, kicking off his "18 and Live" tour in Coolangatta

80's rock royalty and frontman of Skid Row, Sebastian Bach, has arrived in Australia for his "18 and Live" tour. Returning to our shores after seven years away, the androgynous frontman kicked off the Aussie leg of his tour on the Gold Coast this Saturday and is set to play a string of dates including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

British producer Naughty Boy has another guaranteed hit on his hands thanks to a megastar guest spot by Beyoncé, who appears on the hitmaker's latest track "Runnin' (Lost It All)" alongside vocalist Arrow Benjamin. Naughty Boy, who is - up to this point anyway - best known for his Sam Smith featuring "La La La" delivers an urgent drum pattern set over a delicate, sparse piano, giving Bey and Benjamin a well-crafted platform for their undeniable chemistry.

Sydney folk duo Falls wrap up three sold out nights in their Hotel Hollywood homecoming

They say you often to need to go back to where you started to find out how far you've come. And in the case of Sydney band Falls - now based in Los Angeles - they spent much of this week doing just that. The folk duo, then known as The Falls, got their start performing weekly at the Hollywood Hotel in Surry Hills, growing their name as well as their Folk Club brand before moving onto the Oxford Art Factory and the Soda Factory in its later years. And with the imminent release of their debut LP, it seemed only appropriate that they would return to its walls and receive would be best described as a heroes welcoming.

The first ever Newport Ska And Reggae festival is all set to take place on November 22nd in Newport, Victoria, and their lineup has just been announced. The lineup is chock-full of killer ska and reggae acts, including the legendary reggae mainstay Wilbur Theodore Cole aka Stranger Cole, one of the foundational artists of reggae.

The Sydney Blues & Roots Festival has announced a whole heap of rad artists to go along with their amazing headliners this year. The festival, which runs from 22-25 October, has a massive line up of incredible artists, headlined by Canned Heat and Russell Morris, along with 39 other acts. Included in the second announcement are, among many others, A Band Named Trevor, Bellhops, Catfish Soup, and Hussy Hicks.

Soundwave 2016 adds Devil You Know as the eight act confirmed for the festival

As that drip-feed approach continues to test our patience, Soundwave have announced that the eight official band to be joining the 2016 line-up is Metal supergroup Devil You Know.
