The Adelaide Festival reveals Sufjan Stevens, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and more for 2016 program!

The 2016 Adelaide Festival program has been launched today, with David Sefton and his team unveiling yet another eclectic line up of Australian and international musicians, visual artists, theatre and dance legends set to come to South Australia next February and March. In Sefton's fourth and final year as Festival Artistic Director, he's pulling out the big guns across the realms of music, art, dance and theatre that has continued to push boundaries.

Eddy Current Suppression Ring end six-year hiatus to play Golden Plains festival

Melbourne’s Eddy Current Suppression Ring are set to headline this year’s Golden Plains festival, playing a one-off show in the Supernatural Amphitheatre on the 13th of March. It will be the band’s first performance in six years, and ten years to the day since their first appearance at Golden Plains.

Hitting its 14th year, the Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) offers another impressive lineup that's set to span across a range of music genres. The the second year running, music lovers from all over the globe who can't make it to Texas in person, are able to experience the event through Red Bull TV’s exclusive live coverage of Weekend One. WOMADelaide has announced over 20 artists and speakers for its 20th festival, including Benin’s Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Angélique Kidjo, and Canadian academic and environmentalist David Suzuki. The Bennies announce extensive Australian tour 
this summer

Taking over Wilbar Lane in Cronulla (NSW) today is the return of the Sounds of the Subrbs festival, with Australia's own Holy Holy playing headliner duties alongside US bands The Garden, The Memories and White Fang - all presented by iconic Californian label Burger Records. What a time to be alive. Earth-shaking duo Run The Jewels have been teasing their concept remix album, Meow The Jewels, for awhile now, and it's understandably led to some pretty high expectations. For one, nothing like this has ever been done before - at least on a scale like this; RTJ have taken their acclaimed sophomore LP and remixed it with almost nothing but various cat noises, cleverly tweaked to form some surprisingly powerful beats.
