Courtney Barnett teams up with Jack White to pay tribute to an Aussie rock legend

Aussie gem Courtney Barnett has hooked up with Jack White at his very own Third Man Studio in Nashville to record two new songs, one of which is a cover of Rowland S. Howard's timeless "Shivers". The other, a sequel of sorts to Barnett's "Boxing Day Blues", will be released on a limited edition vinyl later this month; for now, Barnett and White's spine-tingling version of "Shivers" is our first taste of what this duo are capable of: beautiful, emotive, good ol' fashioned rock n roll.

Wavves add Sydney and Melbourne sideshows to their upcoming Falls Festival tour

American group Wavves have announced headline shows, adding dates for Sydney and Melbourne in early January after their performances at Falls Festival. The group has played in Australia several times, including at festivals Splendour In The Grass and Groovin' In The Moo, as well as their own shows around the country.

The Preatures set to perform 20 free acoustic shows around Australia for Corona Sunsets

Straight off the back of their national tour, Aussie five piece The Preatures will be hitting the road again, performing 20 live shows around Australia for Corona Sunsets. Starting in Yallingup, WA on November 6, The Preatures will play at various bars around Western Australia, NSW, and Queensland, before finishing in Victoria, ending their month of acoustic performances.
