Party-goers of Sydney – your New Year’s Eve is sorted! Harbour Party is inviting you to dance your way into the New Year with performances from world class musical acts plus the best views of the NYE fireworks, at one of the most incredible locations the city has to offer: Sydney’s own Luna Park!
Leading the charge of huge musical talent for this year’s Harbour Party lineup, direct from New York for an exclusive Sydney performance, is none other than the sensational Wynter Gordon.
Wynter has topped music charts internationally and has multi platinum sales in Australia for her singles ‘Dirty Talk’ & ‘Til Death’, both tracks are found on Wynter’s amazing debut album, With the Music I Die. For the past two years, Wynter has tirelessly traveled the globe performing at major festivals and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in electronic music including David Guetta and Rhythm Masters. Her songs reflect a new self-confidence; her along with her collaborators have given themselves license to play, reveling in a new sound that is a blend of European house, bold beats and purely emotive songwriting. She says, “I feel so comfortable with myself now. I’m really in that place where I’ve just let go.” There’s no doubt, this is one lady who is sure to get the party started!
Joining Wynter with the evenings’ musical revelries will be APRA award winning dance powerhouse, The Potbelleez. The Potbelleez have now chalked up a staggering five Top 20 singles, namely ‘Don’t Hold Back’, ‘Hello’, ‘Are You With Me’, ‘From The Music’ and the latest ‘Midnight Midnight’. Boasting a new album with three massive platinum and gold hits, this is your chance to see why Usher personally invited them to open his recent sold out tour of Australia & New Zealand. 2011 has been The Potbelleez’s year and sees the group at the peak of their party-making game.
For ARIA Award nominated pop diva, Zoë Badwi the last couple of years have been nothing less than massive. From the #1 ARIA Club hit ‘Release Me’, to the TV Rock collaboration, ‘In The Moment’, and the platinum selling anthem and APRA Award winning Top 10 single ‘Freefallin’ - all of which are on her self titled debut – Zoë has been steadily building her stardom and winning an array of fans and supporters from around the globe including Swedish House Mafia member Axwell, The Freemasons, Erick Morillo and BBC Radio 1's Judge Jules, who have all sung her praises. You don’t realise how brilliant Zoë’s voice is until you’ve heard her live.
To make sure the party keeps going all night long, Harbour Party has enlisted the assistance of some of the country’s biggest DJs, including electromash master, Ajax, shape-shifting Beni, and the ever funky, Cassian, with up and coming Sydney dance-indie outfit, Rüfüs also playing a DJ set on the night.
As all good parties go, Harbour Party is fully licensed. But unlike most other NYE parties, entry is affordable, and rides are included with admission. That makes Harbour Party one party you can afford, but can’t afford to miss!
