TV on the Radio help bring the lights down on Vivid Sydney 2015

After 18 days of light, music and ideas, the 7th Vivid Sydney has come to a close for yet another year, with Brooklyn’s TV on the Radio closing out the festival at the Sydney Opera House, supported by Sydney’s own Kirin J Callinan.

Playing to a sold out theatre and opening up with the epic “Young Liars” off their 2004 EP of the same name, the 14 track setlist focused heavily on their new album Seeds, with a splattering of their most loved tracks from their acclaimed career – from “Wolf Like Me” and “Blues From Down Here” off of Return to Cookie Mountain, to “Dancing Choose” and “Golden Age” off of Dear Science – the latter of which got the crowd on their feet. They closed the night out with the now classic “Staring at the Sun”.

The visit – their fifth to our shores (according to the band themselves, we haven’t fact checked this one ourselves, but it sounds about right) – will see them tour around the country, but not before they play one extra night at the Sydney Opera House tomorrow. Their full setlist is below.

TV on the Radio Setlist:
Young Liars
Lazerray
Golden Age
