Oliver Tank announces Support for “Slow Motion Music Tour.”

Oliver Tank has just announced the support acts for his “Slow Motion Music Tour”, which will kick off this February.

First up is one half of duo Oscar + Martin, Oscar Key Sung, who will be performing at every show of the tour. From former band The Middle East, Bree Tranter will be performing at Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Perth’s Kücka will be performing at the Perth show. Finally performing in Adelaide is USA producer Slow Magic and Adelaide’s Oisima.

Eyehategod cancel 25th Anniversary Australian Tour

It is with regret that Eyehategod has cancelled their January Australian tour.

Due to complications with their flights and not enough time to rectify the situation, the band was unable to catch their flight to Australia. The band was unable to catch flights the following day.

Additional US dates have been added to replace the Australian tour.

Refunds will be available at point of purchase.

Avicii sells out Brisbane concert

Swedish DJ Avicii is returning to Australia this month, and to a bunch of fans, with Brisbane being the first date of the tour to completely sell out!
Other cities aren’t far behind, with the first release tickets for Perth sold out. The final release tickets are expected to sell fast.

Cat Power sells out nine shows of January/February tour

Chan Marshall, aka Cat Power, has officially sold out nine shows of her upcoming tour throughout January and February. The dates include shows at Sydney Festival’s Circus Ronaldo Tent, three shows at Melbourne’s Thornbury Theatre, Milton Theatre and The Street in Canberra and Meeniyan Town Hall.

Limited tickets are still available for Fremantle and the second show at Milton Theatre.

Sebadoh adds second Sydney show and announces support

US indie band Sebadoh have added a second Sydney show after selling out their first Factory Floor show. The band will now also be performing on Saturday March 22 at 5pm.
The evening will start off with a sausage sizzle and set by Bed Wettin’ Bad Boys.

Backtrack Australian tour supports announced and Adelaide date added

January 2014 will see Backtrack return to Australia two years after their debut visit. Coming along for the tour will be Iron Mind and Perth’s The Others.

A date for Adelaide has also been added, which will see the band performing at The Crown and Anchor Hotel on Wednesday January 29. The Australia Day show in Sydney has been moved from The Annandale Hotel to The Lair at The Metro Theatre, with all tickets remaining valid.

Melbourne Zoo Twilights 2014 Shows selling out

The Melbourne Zoo Twilights 2014 has officially sold out three gigs – Jessica Mauboy with Ms Murphey, James Reyne with Daryl Braithwaite and Xavier Rudd with Max Rudd. Other shows are selling fast.

Tickets to the Twilights shows include full access to the Zoo. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and wander amongst the exhibits.
