G3 add show in Newcastle

The three wise men of modern day guitar mastery Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Steve Lukather will be bringing their holy gifts to the blessed land of Newcastle for a special one night only in March.

Performing under the name G3, audiences will be dazzled by what is set to be a night of eletrifyingly brilliant displays of guitar skilfulness. Fans will be treated to individual sets by each guitarist with their own band before joining Satriani and his band on stage for an all-star jam session.

JAMES VINCENT MCMORROW

Singer song-writer James Vincent McMorrow has been winning hearts overseas with his debut release, Early in the Morning and with a special festival appearance at the 2012 Byron Bay Bluesfest in the bag, Australian audiences are next on McMorrow's list. His tour of the East Coast is beginning to sell tickets very quickly, with a second Sydney show added and the other dates on the bill also nearing capacity. With the album scheduled for an Australian release next month, local audiences will have the chance to get completely familiar with McMorrow and his heart-melting style of song before he gets over here.

Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! 'Voyager' Tour

Adelaide six piece "monolithic tech-poppers" Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire! are making the drive up and over to Sydney this weekend for a headline show at the Good God Small Club this Saturday, February 25. Supporting them will be local bands Sures and 1929Indian

Shortly after the Sydney show the band will make their way down to Melbourne where they will support St. Vincent for her debut Australian tour.

A new all ages show has been added to the national run of theatre dates for the City and Colour Australian tour.
