Barry Gibb Announces Sydney’s Audio Vixen as special guests on his Australian ‘Mythology’ tour

Audio Vixen have been announced as the supports for Barry Gibb’s Australian tour, after they posted a video of a sweet rendition of BeeGee’s song "Morning of My Life" on YouTube stating that they would love to open his show. A case of if you don’t ask you don’t get the powers that be in the Gibb’s camp got the message and Audio Vixen have landed the sought after slot. With the first Brisbane show sold out and limited tickets available for the rest of the tour this is a highly anticipated gig.

The Presets announce regional dates, an extra Fremantle show and a change of venue for Adelaide

Adding a second show in Fremantle and announcing three extra shows nationally The Presets are expanding their national headline tour. With new shows in Darwin, Townsville and Newcastle there will also be a change of venue in Adelaide with the gig moving from Adelaide Entertainment Centre to the HQ complex. All current tickets will still be valid without needing to exchange them and tickets for the new shows are onsale now.

Battle Pope vs. Jesus Christ Posse Sydney show changes venue due to fire

The Battle Pope vs. Jesus Christ tour kicks off tomorrow and they have announced a change of venue for the Sydney show on Saturday the 26th of January due to The Lansdowne Hotel catching fire. As such they have had to cancel all gigs at the hotel so the new venue is now the The Roxbury in Glebe. All tickets are still valid for more information head to the Facebook event page:

Jens Lekman Announces Australian Tour Supports for February tour

Singer and storyteller Jens Lekman has announced a sweet selection of Australian talent to join him on his tour this February. Courtney Bartnett will be blessing the east-coast shows with her sassy slacker country pop, Melodie Nelson will be appearing at the Sydney and Melbourne show. Lastly Scraps with aptly named ‘patchwork electronica’ will open for the Brisbane Zoo show.

DINOSAUR JR Sell Out Corner Hotel Show

Not so great news for Melbourne Dinosaur Jr fans, as the Dino-team has announced along with Golden Plains Festival selling out, their show at The Corner Hotel has also sold out. Leaving one more chance only to see them in St Kilda at The Espy on March the 8th.

ATP I’ll Be Your Mirror Weekend Passes SOLD OUT

If you had plans to enjoy the whole weekend at ATP’s I’ll be Your Mirror in Melbourne, unfortunately weekend passes and Saturday day passes have now sold out. Fear not procrastinators because Sunday passes are still available to see bands like The Drones, Beasts of Bourbon, Einstürzende Neubauten and loads more. In a vain effort to deter scalpers they have announced 50 weekend passes can be bought from Title store on Gertrude Street the 15th of February from 10am.

The Demon Parade add more shows to their east coast Australia tour

The Demon Parade have added more shows on their east coast tour in St Kilda, Geelong, Manly and an extra show in Brisbane. All the details for the new gigs are below.

Blink 182 Supports announced!

Southern Californian punk rockers The Vandals are joining Blink 182 on their four date Australian tour. Along for the ride are also British Rock N’ Rollers Sharks putting forth a suburb international line-up of rock music.

Yeasayer Australian Supports Announced

Making Laneway appearances and headlining their own shows in Sydney and Melbourne Yeasayer have announced supports for their headlining shows. Oliver Tank and Sydney electronic duo FISHING will be opening the show in Sydney’s Metro Theatre, while Montero will be supporting at Melbourne’s Hi Fi.

The Smith Street Band announce extra shows and more bands along for the ride

The Smith Street Band have extended their already bursting ‘Young Drunks’ tour by adding new dates, all ages shows and more support acts. Bringing the gig count from 14 shows to 19, all ages shows have been announced in Brisbane, Port Macquarie and Melbourne, with two more over 18 gigs in Canberra and Geelong. All the updated details are below, including additional supports also joining Bomb The Music Industry and The Bennies with The Smith Street Band.
