Black Sabbath adds Adelaide date to Australian tour.

This morning, Live Nation announced that Black Sabbath has added an Adelaide date to their upcoming Australian tour through April and May. Responding to the pleas of the South Australian fans, the influential UK band has confirmed that their first Australian tour in about 40 tours will now include a visit to the City of Churches in May. How apt.

Shihad will be the support act at the gig, tickets for which become on sale 9am, March 7. Live Nation will be running a pre-sale from midday, March 4 until midday March 5. Ticketek’s pre-sale will commence from 1pm, March 5 until March 6 or until allocation is exhausted.

New dates and venue changes announced for A$AP Rocky’s Australian tour.

Niche & Live Nation have announced that A$AP Rocky’s upcoming Australian tour will undergo some changes, due to his US commitments. Due to an overwhelming reaction during the pre-sale, the rapper’s Sydney and Melbourne shows are changing dates and moving to the Hordern Pavilion and Festival Hall respectively. Both gigs are licensed all ages shows; ticketholders can receive refunds from the point of purchase, while their current tickets will remain valid.

Punters should also note that the new on sale date for Melbourne is 9am, March 6, where Brisbane, Sydney and Perth remain unchanged (9am, February 28).

Lowrider moves Sydney show to the Annandale.

Due to circumstances they can’t change, Lowrider have had to move their Sydney show from Notes Live, to the Annandale Hotel this April. All tickets bought for the Notes show remain valid for the newly scheduled gig, but if this schedule provides conflicts for punters, refunds are also available from the point of purchase.

Dig It Up! reveals more local bands set to appear at the 2013 invitational.

Just because they want to give you more than the already killer announcement of The Buzzcocks, Blue Oyster Cult, Flamin’ Groovies and Peter Case – the Hoodoo Gurus have chosen a bunch of fantastic local acts to join Dig It Up! 2013. Read on to see who will be playing each leg of the tour:

P!NK’s Australian tour is getting closer and closer and Live Nation have now announced that an extra slew of tickets have been released for all shows on the tour. The tickets, previously reserved due to production requirements, have now been made available for the public; if you missed out on snagging tickets for this tour the first time round, you have your shot now! Tickets are available exclusively to Live Nation members, so head to to get in on it!

New shows for Tenacious D’s Australian tour announced.

Two new shows have been added to Tenacious D’s upcoming tour of Australia, with Sydney and Melbourne being the lucky cities to score extra gigs. The duo will perform the additional shows at the Sydney Opera House and at the Palais in May. Tickets for both gigs are on sale from and respectively.

Husky, The Drones and Shane Howard to support Neil Young and Crazy Horse.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse’s Australian and New Zealand tour kicks off quite soon and so where would we be without an announcement of the bands set to support the iconic group? Set to support the band on their arena tour are Husky (except The Plenary), The Drones (The Plenary, Hunter Valley) and Shane Howard (Geelong). Limited tickets remain for this anticipated tour, so if you needed an extra push to get on the bandwagon, this announcement should be it!

This Will Destroy You announce support acts for Australian tour.

US post-rockers, This Will Destroy You, have announced the bands who will be supporting them when they tour here in March for the first time. Perth’s Tangled Thoughts of Leaving will act as national support (except Adelaide), ahead of their debut European tour. Dumbsaint will open shows in Melbourne and Perth, while Fourteen Nights At Sea will support in Adelaide and open the first Melbourne show. Arrows,We Lost the Sea and Candidae have also been added as local openers for the tour.

Soul II Soul’s Perth show undergoing venue change.

The originally scheduled Perth show for Soul II Soul Soundsystem has been changed; to meet demand, the gig will now be at Amplifier Capitol, instead of the Astor. Things are set to go down on March 1st, so be sure you’re amongst the Perth crowd!
