Ahead of their upcoming Devil's Rain Australian Tour, The Misfits today announced the main National supports with opening spots still up for grabs in the Support The Misfits competition which closes midnight tonight!

In Perth at The Capitol Theatre on the 30th of November The Misfits will be joined by local bruisers Chainsaw Hookers along with the local competition winner to open. In Sydney at The Manning Bar on the 1st of December the main support will come from local glam punk outfit Melody Black with local competition winners to open proceedings. In Brisbane on Friday the 2nd of December at the HiFi local protagonists Skinwalkers have the main support along with the local competition winner to open up. In Melbourne at the HiFi on Saturday the 3rd of December party metal dudes Electrik Dynamite will join the local competition winner to heat things up. In Adelaide at Fowlers on the 4th of December will see the fantastic old skool punk rockers Dead Joe as main support with the opening slot going to the local competition winner.

Don't forget KillRockStar Big Dog Entertainment, Blunt Magazine and Tone Deaf are still giving five up-and-coming bands across the the country the chance of a lifetime to open for The Misfits on their upcoming Devil's Rain 2011 Australian Tour. All you need to do is head to the KillRockStar Entertainment page on Facebook and hit 'like.' From here you'll be directed to an entry form for your band's details. The KillRockStar Big Dog Entertainment crew will pick 15 bands in each state (Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide) and open up the voting to anyone who has liked the KillRockStar Big Dog Entertainment Facebook page. The band with the most votes in each state wins the coveted opening slot at The Misfits show in their home town.

Applications for the competition close at midnight tonight! Public voting will open on the 11th of November and close on the 25th with the winners for each state announced on the 27th of November.
