For over 2 years, Purple Sneakers have been throwing massive parties your you all in Canberra to flail your limbs and smoosh face at. They've been known to "foster a real sense of community in the crowd; as strangers come together to dance, hook up and vom as one" - FasterLouder.

The good news is Purple Sneakers are not stopping there, no siree Bob. In August, they are bringing more of the party you love to the one and only Transit Bar.

Arriving August, 13th is the brand new live music night - Fresh Prince. Along with other Purple Sneakers clubs around the country, Fresh Prince will feature the hottest in Australiana and International live indie music, as well as DJs that'll have you dancing til the wee hours. Fresh Prince is here to mess your head up - to see you mosh then grind, to clap along then grop along. To kick off the new monthly party, Purple Sneakers are bringing you indie darlings Deap Sea Arcade to melt your winter hearts, supported by local heroes Fun Machine.

As if the new night wasn't the best news ever, they are also taking their last-Friday-of-the-month-all-DJ parties up a notch. Who doesn't like to party?
On August 26th, the newly renamed Bel Air will smash all past events in the face - shipping in Australia's best indie DJs - Indian Summer(MEL), and their very own PhDJ - to get you sweaty like you've never been before. You think Transit has gone off? You ain't seen nothing yet.
