The program for this year's Darwin Festival has been released tonight and it's safe to say that it is good. Taking place from August 9 until the 26th, the Darwin Festival is bringing together a fabulous mix of Australian and international talent in the tropical setting of the Top End.

Additions to the festival include George's Green, a second festival hub which is set to house entertainment as well as bar and food options, while the Idolize Spiegeltent will be making it's appearance as one of the leading venues. With free shuttle buses available to ferry festival goers from hub to hub, the Darwin Festival's scope seems that much larger and accessible!

Some of the acts to be featured on the line up include music legend Kenny Rogers, a thrilling double bill of Kate Miller-Heidke and Washington, Hermitude and Darwin's own David Garnham. THe amount of NT-based artists on the line up is impressive as well and feature heavily through the music, dance and theatre categories.
