Australia’s much loved boutique festival, Playground Weekender, is at it again, announcing more acts to its already mega packed three day festival. New Zealand's Shapeshifter, 26 piece Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Germany's Steve Bug, LTJ Bukem, and underground sensations Amirau have been added to the all star line up. These latest announcements bolster the ranks of the event and add further diversity and edge to the much anticipated festival.

FBi Radio, who are the hosts of the The Shackstage, have also announced that they will be presenting CAMERAS, The Paper Scissors and Fait Accompli, and an array of other new and exciting artists. Not only that, FBi are giving four bands, big or small, the chance to take to the stage. In other developments, promoters have also dropped the unfortunate news that Modeselektor and Fat Freddy’s Drop will not be able to honour their agreement to play at this year's festival. Both bands have confirmed that, due to personal reasons, they won't be able to make these dates.
