When Paul Dempsey announced he would be returning home to play two solo shows in Melbourne and Sydney in October and November, the response was swift. Currently residing in New York and touring the States on the back of the US release of his debut solo album Everything Is True, both shows sold out immediately, confirming once again that Paul Dempsey is one of Australia’s most respected and lauded songwriters, and in the minds of his fans has clearly been away too long.

Due to overwhelming demand Paul is delighted to announce that he is now adding solo shows in Brisbane and Fremantle. In addition, a second show in Sydney has been added where Paul’s set will heavily feature Something For Kate songs, spanning the band’s back catalogue and, for the first time, brand new songs slated for the new SFK album due for release in 2012.

In addition, Paul will also be performing as part of the “They Will Have Their Way” tour and also taking part in a special one-off performance at the Melbourne Festival as part of the “Notes From the Hard Road” concert.
