Oisima, Horror My Friend, Timberwolf and more named recipients of the 2015 Stigwood Fellowship.

A number of talented South Australian individuals, both musicians and industry members, have today been announced as recipients of the 2015 Stigwood Fellowship. Run through the SA State Government, Arts SA and the Music Development Office, the second annual fellowships have been awarded to six rising local music acts and three promising and established industry members.

The program proved successful in 2014, the results showing rapidly with Tkay Maidza and Bad//Dreems' being just two of the success stories from the first round of recipients. Arts Minister Jack Snelling has said of the recipients this year, "I anticipate that the second-year recipients of the fellowships will benefit from the success of the 2014 alumni and the value that their achievements have added to the program. The Stigwood Fellowship program has proven successful in promoting local musicians, bands and industry entrepreneurs on the world stage."

The recipients of this year's fellowships have already proven their talent and potential and it's going to be interesting to see where they go in the New Year off the back of this invaluable support.
