In just a few weeks Straight To You: triple j's Tribute to Nick Cave heads out on the road with some of Australia's leading vocalists in tow.

Kicking off Ausmusic Month, the concerts will give the likes of Lanie Lane, Dan Sultan, Jake Stone, Adalita, Urthboy, Kram and many more talented Australian musicians, a chance to rework over 35 years of Nick Cave material. From his early days with Boys Next Door and The Birthday Party through to 14 studio albums with The Bad Seeds and two more with Grinderman, Nick Cave has remained relevant and consistently brilliant.

While there are plenty of surprises planned throughout the tour, triple j has given a few indications of what you can expect on the night. Here's what has been revealed so far:

Adalita has the honour of performing the tribute’s title track ‘Straight To You’. Urthboy is rehearsing a unique cover of 'Stagger Lee' from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' Murder Ballads. Lanie Lane told us that she's covering ‘Jack The Ripper’ and hinted she may be doing a classic duet with Alex from Sparkadia. While more collaborations see Muscles team up with Bertie Blackman, and Lisa Mitchell, Dan Sultan and Kram are coming together for a big surprise for the night.

Straight To You: triple j’s Tribute to Nick Cave promises to be a unique series of concerts you won’t want to miss. Tickets to the Brisbane show at the Tivoli have sold out and Melbourne’s first Forum show is very close to selling out.
