Start firing up the Splendour In The Grass rumours; Bloc Party have announced their first post-reunion show at the Melt! Festival in Germany.

Melt! Festival is celebrating its 15th birthday, with the dates for the festival this year going over the 13th, 14th and 15th of July. With the lineup including Gossip, Justice, Caribou and Two Door Cinema Club (full line up below), it could be our first real insight into the 2012 Splendour lineup (taking place in its hometown of Byron Bay on the 27th, 28th and 29th of July).

With Japanese festival Fuji Rock taking place over the same three days (as well as denials from promoter Jess Ducrou) we've already counted Radiohead and The Stone Roses out of competition; Bloc Party seem to be a good choice given their almost-perfect set at the festival in 2010.
