With their brand new single I Loved You Then in tow, Melbourne’s Loon Lake are hitting the road on their Not Just Friends Tour and will be will be bringing their frenetic melodies and infectiously raucous riffs to Goodgod in Sydney on Thursday 18 August and CBD Hotel in Newcastle on Friday 19 August .
I Loved You Then has been added to spot rotation on triple j and is a sunny garage inspired pop track that demonstrates indie music can still have soul, grit and spunk whilst retaining an inherent pop sensibility.
Having completely sold out their EP launch at Ding Dong in Melbourne and being invited to support Red Riders in Melbourne and Sydney on their monumental last ever shows, Loon Lake have already earned themselves a reputation as a must-see live band.
