Kylie Minogue surprises Coldplay fans at their intimate Enmore Theatre performance in Sydney.

After their 14 track set at The Star for MAX Sessions and performing in the streets of Newtown, tonight Coldplay performed their anticipated concert in front of a capacity 2,400 crowd at the Enmore Theatre not far from where the video was filmed earlier in the week. And just when we thought they couldn’t give Sydneysiders anything else extra special – out came Kylie.

Yes, Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue delighted fans when she joined Chris Martin and Coldplay on stage for two songs in the Encore – “Where The Wild Roses Grow” (yep, the one she did with Nick Cave) and “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head”. The performance was also streamed online at http://www.coldplayaustralia.com.au/ and fans responded immediately on Twitter with the trending hashtage #coldplaylive.

Fans also noted the intimate nature of the show, with Martin interacting with the crowd in ways impossible during the Stadium performances. He even stopped during “Til Kingdom Come” to address a loud “YEWWWW” from the crowd, remarking “…that was the best crowd noise I have ever heard…”
