John Oliver performing two stand up shows in Australia this August!

Host of Last Week Tonight/Brit slaying it in the US/general legend, John Oliver, will bringing his cutting-edge wit and hilarious comedy to Australia for two shows this August! The Emmy and Writer's Guild Award winning writer takes time from his wildly successful TV show to bring his stand up show to Australia for the first time, a show that - unsurprisingly - sells out shows right across the US.

If, for some reason, you don't know who Oliver is, simply look him up on YouTube and embrace the black hole that is becoming addicted to his videos taking aim at everything from American politics to foreign policies and more. Having recently asked Edward Snowden about the anonymity of dick pics, only Oliver could have gotten away with using a rare and highly publicised opportunity to interview a public figure as is Snowden to not only make people laugh, but also make his story easy to understand for the passing viewer.

Tickets for these shows in Melbourne and Sydney will not last - book quick to avoid disappointment. They go on sale from 9am, May 11th.
