2011 and has been a fairly quiet year for Melbourne band House Vs Hurricane but as the band are getting ready to write the follow up to their 2010 album Perspectives the band have just announced that their current singer Chris Dicker will be leaving.
Chris Shaw Guitarist and songwriter for House Vs Hurricane had the following to say about the departure of his band mate "Dicker's decision to leave was a huge impact on all of us, but it is one he had to make and we all remain close friends with him. There was never any doubt as to whether this record would happen or not. It is happening, and it is some of the best songs we have written together, we're super excited to release it and show everyone what we have been working on for the past year."
House Vs Hurricane have already found a new vocalist and will be revealing their identity via a video diary throughout November.
The band are heading out on one last tour with Dicker as their vocalist through out November. You can catch them at the following locations:
