Gyroscope celebrating 10 year anniversary of "Sound Shattering Sound" with national tour!

Many people will remember a time when Gyroscope dominated their music collections. The Perth band who enjoyed much success from 2004 onward, I remember, were such a popular act to be listening to when I was discovering new Australian rock music in high school. Fans will remember Sound Shattering Sound fondly and probably won't believe that it's been 10 years since was released! To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the band announced today that they would be taking it on the road for a very special national tour!

The tour will be Gyroscope's first since 2011's 'Choose Your Adventure Tour' and more significantly, the first run of shows the band has played since guitarist Zok Trivic was involved in a serious motorcycle accident, leaving him wheelchair bound and requiring a long amount of recovery time, back in 2012.

Since then, the band has gone on to do different things while still supporting their local music industry but now, they've decided to get back on the road and remind their fans what a killer live band they are! Sound Shattering Sound will be performed in full on each date, with favourites from later Gyroscope albums also set to feature. Supporting Gyroscope on tour will be The Love Junkies and Graphic Characters, hand picked by Gyroscope themselves.

Tickets for the shows are on sale from 9am local time, October 3rd.
