There are a heap of one off gig announcements happening all around the country this week, with the likes of Das Racist, Shadowqueen, Iowa, Kitchen's Floor, Jonti, Gold Fields and much more all hitting the stages in various bars and venues. There is also the return of the highly popular Women of Soul nights happening at the Cherry Bar!

WOMEN OF SOUL

The Women of Soul residency is returning to the Cherry Bar in Melbourne for four exclusive shows during the month of February. These special nights will feature some of Australia's finest soul vocalists including Kylie Auldist, May Johnston, Shirley Davis, Karen Morales and special guest appearances by Chelsea Wilson.

The female fronted three piece from Melbourne town, Shadowqueen will be celebrating the independent launch of their debut single "Don't Tell" at the Espy this Thursday February 2. The band have toured with the likes of The Butterfly Effect, Shihad and Floating Me amongst others.

The band are obviously big fans of 90's grunge and indie bands likeDinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine and Mudhoney and it shines through in their music.
