Baltimore trio Future Islands' romantic synth sound scales new heights with third album On the Water, submerged currents of Simple Minds, Ultravox, Brian Eno, Japan, Talk Talk, David Bowie surface in their most ambitious and fully realized statement yet. He has released 9 albums with The Go-Betweens and 4 solo albums of original material. His last solo album The Evangelist, released in 2008, was nominated as one of the albums of the year by the influential Uncut magazine in the UK.

Don McGlashan of the The Mutton Birds, is one of New Zealand’s best-known and beloved songwriters.
