Deerhoof Announce Perth Show

The iconic Deerhoofare well-loved by critics and music audiences alike, and those lucky in Perth should be falling over themselves to get to the bands one-off performance at The Rosemont Hotel on February 28th. Loon Lake Announce Corner Hotel Show

After being busy bees this year, Loon Lake are set to have an bigger year in 2013 with the release of their debut album and before bunkering down to finish off the album, Loon Lake will play a show at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel. Tropical Discotheque announced at Fremantle Arts Centre

Neighbourhood Youth Gain Residency at The Workers Club

After just having a successful launch party, Neighbourhood Youth now have a residency spot at The Workers Club in Melbourne. It’s been a big couple of years for the band so make sure you catch them at one of the Monday night spots in January on either Monday 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th!

Osaka Monaurail Comes to Australia

Super cool Japanese funk-group Osaka Monaurail are stopping by Australia and will be playing a special show at Melbourne’s Espy on January 25th. Dan Brodie Announces Single Launch Party

After trotting around Europe on a successful tour Dan Brodie is returning to Australia with a new single under his belt and a launch party to celebrate. The launch will take place at Old Bar on Friday 21st December, with Dan Brodie helped out on stage by Fibbins Sisters.

Juke Joint Plays The Old Bar

PBS 106.7 FM’s Juke Joint will be recreating the feel of a Southern Juke establishment on December 29th. Juke Joint will joined by a gang of rascals that include no other than Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk (feat. Cosmic Psychos drummer Dean Muller), one man band Rattlin’ Bones Blackwood, Catfish Voodoo, Coral Lee and the Silver Scream and Guy Kable. Juke Joint’s very own Matt Frederick will also be spinning tunes in-between the bands.
