Angus & Julia Stone, Kate Miller-Heidke and more to play Queenscliff Music Festival in November!

The Bellarine Peninsula seems to be the place to be this November, with the Queenscliff Music Festival dropping one tasty as hell artist announcement today! The first artist announcement features some of the country's best and indeed favourite live acts and as the festival gears up to celebrate its 19th year in 2015, we can only imagine what goodies the crew behind the QMF still have to offer.

Edmonton Folk Music Festival lineup Announced Including Angus and Julia Stone and more international folk acts

In the year 1980, Edmonton Folk Music Festival had only one leading staff and three-hundred volunteers, now it has become one of the leading folk festivals in the world. Present day, with over 2000 volunteers making a massive contribution, the festival has become a non-for-profit event, showcasing the best in folk music worldwide. Known for their hit single, "Big Jet Plane", Australian folk-duo Angus and Julia Stone will also be part of this year's festival lineup!

Gang of Youths, Holy Holy, Timberwolf & more featured on first official BIGSOUND artist announcement!

BIGSOUND has named the first 50 artists for the 2015 live program and for another year, Brisbane looks to become a buzzing hive of excellent live music in September! BIGSOUND Live sees 14 music venues through the Valley taken over by some impressive line ups of bands from around Australia and abroad over two nights for what has become Australia's biggest gathering of industry and music fans. Last year's BIGSOUND program was hectic, showcasing some diverse and brilliant talent - both emerging and established - and this year is going to be no different.

New Festival Bondi Beachfest Announces The Beach Boys as Headliners

Bondi Beachfest is the newest music festival which will be held on the world famous Bondi Beach on Saturday 14 November, and to celebrate the launch of this event, The Beach Boys will be headlining. Sally Betts from Waverley Council states that “it reflects our wonderful beach culture, and is a great way to herald the Summer holidays…”. Childish Gambino, SBTRKT, Joey Bada$$ lead 2015 Listen Out line up!

The 2015 Listen Out festival line up has dropped today and it's looking to be a sweet fusion of hip-hop, dance and electronic music at the events scheduled for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth this September and October. Leading the charge this year is Childish Gambino, who'll be making his Australian return off the back of a popularly received Splendour in the Grass appearance last year. Most recently, Gambino's debuted a new track at Bonnaroo in the States, so we're keen to see what new music stands to come out between now and his next lot of Aussie dates. Falls Festival alumni SBTRKT, Joey Bada$$, Alison Wonderland and Client Liaison also feature on the 2015 bill, with more announcements still to drop!

After 18 days of light, music and ideas, the 7th Vivid Sydney has come to a close for yet another year, with Brooklyn's TV on the Radio closing out the festival at the Sydney Opera House, supported by Sydney's own Kirin J Callinan.

This Sunday during the upcoming long weekend, Caxton Street Festival will be held along Caxton Street, Brisbane. British festival favourites Muse have been announced as headliners for Lollapalooza Berlin, it's been revealed overnight. The two day festival happening in September is the latest event to be added to the Lolla franchise, taking place at Tempelhof Airport and already features the likes of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Franz Ferdinand, Run the Jewels and Crystal Fighters on its inaugural festival bill.

Come Together 2015 is only a week away now and the announcements are keeping on coming, with the announcement of the Triple J Unearthed competition winners, release of set times and the news that weekend tickets have completely sold out! Inaugural 'Electro Circus' festival coming to Sydney in September!

A cool new indoor festival concept is coming to the Rosehill Gardens in Western Sydney this September, with the inaugural Electro Circus festival bringing a unique experience never before seen in Australia. If you're a dance, electro, bounce, trap or trance fan, this is going to be up your alley, with Electro Circus to feature over 25 international and local names over three stages, not to mention various productions, lasers, CO2 cannons and more to keep that trip going throughout the day and night.

Kirin J. Callinan confirmed to support TV on the Radio at the Sydney Opera House!

It's a pretty safe bet that the two shows TV on the Radio have set up for the Sydney Opera House as part of VIVID Sydney are set to be some of the highlights of the festival for live music lovers. Today, the organisers have gone and added another layer of greatness, with the addition of Kirin J. Callinan to the shows. The level creative madness and intrigue Callinan has brought to his live shows over the last few years has made him one of Australia's renowned and sought after performers and recently, he's popped up on tunes with the likes of Mark Ronson all the while dominating on stages as both solo artist and of course, as part of Jack Ladder and The Dreamlanders.

Line Up announced for Red Bull Music Academy at Splendour in the Grass

It's now considered a festival within a festival. Red Bull Music Academy have been popping up at Splendour in the Grass for three years now, and they always seem host some of the weekend's stand-out performances. Last year's RBMA line up was perhaps one of their best yet, with memorable sets by the likes of Peanut Butter Wolf and Nicolas Jaar. The pop up - which was Tokyo themed last year - was also home to some of the best musical discoveries on offer.

Florence & the Machine confirm exclusive Splendour in the Grass shows for Melbourne and Sydney.

Florence & The Machine's first appearance at Splendour in the Grass is one that many fans will count as one of the best years of the festival. With the likes of The Strokes, LCD Soundsystem, Ben Harper and Pixies all performing alongside the British band, Florence & The Machine definitely stood out as one of the bands of Splendour 2010. Since then, full tours by Florence Welch have been scattered, especially down this way, so when her return to Australia for 2015 was announced, the idea of her potentially throwing down some headline dates on the visit were obviously exciting.
