Dozens of new acts announced for Sydney Blues & Roots Festival 2015

The Sydney Blues & Roots Festival has announced a whole heap of rad artists to go along with their amazing headliners this year. The festival, which runs from 22-25 October, has a massive line up of incredible artists, headlined by Canned Heat and Russell Morris, along with 39 other acts. Included in the second announcement are, among many others, A Band Named Trevor, Bellhops, Catfish Soup, and Hussy Hicks.

Soundwave 2016 adds Devil You Know as the eight act confirmed for the festival

As that drip-feed approach continues to test our patience, Soundwave have announced that the eight official band to be joining the 2016 line-up is Metal supergroup Devil You Know. Howard Jones, the former frontman for Killswitch Engage leads the impressive roster of talent that constitutes the band, with Francesco Artusato (All Shall Perish), John Sankey (Fear Factory, Divine Heresy), and Ryan Wombacher (Bleeding Through).

CMJ Music Marathon, New York’s annual music showcase, has announced its initial line-up for 2015, with a range of performances featuring some 300 artists from Australia and the around the world. Australian acts featured include British India, singer-songwriter HOWQUA, Sydney’s NGAIIRE, SAFIA, METHYL ETHEL, The Bennies and more. Taking place in October, the 2015 installment of the CMJ Music Marathon marks the event's 35th year and will also see the likes of Catfish & The Bottlemen, Mercury Rev, Tobias Jesso Jr., Kamasi Washington, Glass Animals, Panda Bear, BØRNS and Perfect Pussy performing.

Soulfest 2015 announces stage times

Soulfest has just announced the stage schedule for its 2015 festival dates in Sydney and Melbourne. This year welcomes the best in soul featuring the one and only Mary J. Sydney festival One Day Only announces line up

In case you haven't heard already, Sydney crew One Day are taking their One Day Sundays party up to a new level by turning it into a boutique festival at Manning House, titled One Day Only. Across three stages at the Tempelhof Airport, Muse, Tame Impala and Martin Garrix brought 50,000 plus people together to celebrate the end of a weekend of great music, perfect weather and a successful festival line up.

The first day and night of the inaugural European extension of Lollapalooza came to a close at the Tempelhof Airport on Saturday, with hip-hop, rock and roll and dance music setting up a killer final few hours for punters to power on through to.
