Festival News Roundup - Future Music Festival on track to sell out and announces extras tages; FUSE Festival news and more!

Future Music Festival close to selling out, adds DFA Records and Ear Storm Records stages!

Future Music is going from strength to strength this year; with a killer lineup that came out of left field for all festival fans (including the elusive Aphex Twin as well as Fatboy Slim, Sweedish House Mafia, chronic Australia-addicts The Wombats and quirky Zef-rappers Die Antwoord) the festival announced today that Sydney is on the verge of selling out the third release, with all other cities following close behind. Tickets in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide have officially moved onto third release, with the price increasing to $150+bf.

Future Entertainment have also announced a string of stages to accompany the festival. The first is the Flamboyant Flamingo Stage presented by Mazda; this stage will be graced by the likes of New Order, The Wombats, The Rapture, Friendly Fires, Gym Class Heroes, The Naked And Famous and Alex Metric.

With James Murphy and Pat Mahoney (two of the minds behind LCD Soundsystem) appearing at the event, Smirnoff have teamed up with their parent label DFA Records to present a stage at Future 2012! The lineup includes James Murphy and Pat Mahoney (obviously), Holy Ghost!, Hercules and Love Affair, Horse Meat Disco and a few more to be announced!

Finally, Knife Party have announced the Ear Storm Records stage. Featuring Flux Pavillion, Knife Party and Zane Lowe, it's sure to be one of the highlights of the already packed festival. More acts are to be announced on this stage!

So that's 10 stages for the festival; impressive, no matter which way you slice it! Don't delay any longer, lest ticket prices go up further or more likely sell out completely! Tickets are on sale now at the Future Music Festival website.
