Hits & Pits 2.0 have just released their second line-up announcement for their nation-wide festival in November, 2013. Joining the ranks are American indie-punk band Bad Astronaut, touring Australia for the very first (and quite possibly, last) time! Old favourites The Ataris will also be bringing the melodious, pop-driven punk to Australian shores for the festival.

Parklife Festival scrapped for 2013, new 'Listen Out Festival' announced instead!

In news that will no doubt affect many Australian festival-lover's calendar, it's been revealed that the annual Parklife festival tour will no longer be held. In it's place, Fuzzy Entertainment have announced a new festival in Listen Out. The new touring festival is being billed as the country's only 'IDM' or Intelligent Dance Music event, and will be travelling around the country in September and October. Everywhere except Adelaide, it seems.

The Kite String Tangle announce the 'Given The Chance' single tour.

Brisbane producer The Kite String Tangle has a new track out in "Given A Chance", and will be on the road through July to bring it to life on stages in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney! The man behind the tunes, real name Danny Harley, cites influences as Active Child and Chet Faker, and has recently supported the likes of Vydamo, Pluto Jonze and Gold Panda. The music is unique, the live shows even more so - this is a tour you'll not want to miss in a hurry!
