Eagle and the Worm kick off national tour this Saturday.

It’s that time of year folks - The Eagle and the Worm road train are packing up their bags and hitting the road for a month long national tour pedaling a debut album, 7 inches, 12 inches and a string of hits and misses including party starters "Al I Know", "Futureman", mild-times exocita lullaby "Too Young" and a new single "1 to the 4"

After releasing what was been described as "without a doubt a flawless debut album” 10/10 (AU Review), Eagle and the Worm are announcing their only headline tour of 2011 in celebration of their critically acclaimed release “Goodtimes” - 4 1/2 stars: Herald Sun, Courier Mail, Album of the week PBS, Melbourne Mag.

EATW will be bringing the full “Goodtimes” production and the 8 piece band nation wide to every show and will be the only opportunity to see EATW in this capacity for the rest of 2011.
After putting out a string of 7 inches in 2010 – ‘All I Know’ and ‘Futureman’ and receiving plenty of love from community radio and Triple J - EATW became a festival favourite; playing Big Day Out, Falls, Valley Fiesta, Melbourne Festival and Apollo Bay.

The album tour will coincide with the National release of “Goodtimes” on 12" Vinyl LP, available at shows, online and indie retailers.

To celebrate the tour, EATW have also recorded a very limited edition 7" of single “Too Young” which will be available at the show.

Coming along in support of the worm (all shows except WA and QLD), are the moody and soulful sounds of The Frowning Clouds. Their energetic 60's garage, freakbeat and R&B warm up show is sure to please. Special Guest Barry Morgan will feature at the home town launch in Melbourne.
