Brisbane outfit DZ Deathrays have just finished up their St Jeromes Laneway Festival duties, but they're not stopping there! Their debut LP Bloodstreams was revealed today, slated for Australian release on Friday the 6th of April!
2011 was a big year for the lords of thrash, with highly acclaimed performances across the USA including SXSW, touring the UK with Cerebral Ballzy and becoming the darlings of NME via their electrifying Great Escape performance, as well as doing a full month of touring with Children Collide nation-wide then RETURNING to the UK as well as Europe for a whirlwind tour. The dynamic duo returned home in November 2011 to White Room Studios at Mt Nebo to record the LP, produced by Richard Pike (of PVT) and Neil Coombe...oh, and then they were the support act in Melbourne and the Gold Coast for a little band called Foo Fighters.
There's also a tour announcement alongside the album announcement; a 14-date Australia wide extravaganze, with special street-fighting guests Velociraptor supporting at select shows. Tickets are on sale Feb 16th. Check out the dates!
