Children Collide busted the gates open on their highly anticipated third album (titled Monument) with lead single "Sword To A Gunfight" showcasing the punchier, punkier direction while maintaining the licks of prog and psych rock. Frontman Johnny Mackay explained the single as "a time-travelling disco space-punk song" and quite frankly, we'd agree. Get a taste here:
In true Children Collide fashion, the band will embark on a nation-wide tour to support the release of the album, due out in April 2012. Get yourself to one of these dates below; Children Collide are definitely one of the best Australian bands of the past two decades, and definitely in the top five of Australian touring bands in recent years.
