Due to the unexpected and extreme weather conditions that hit the North Coast of NSW on Sunday 12th June, the highly anticipated Bliss n Eso concert at the Coffs Harbour Showground had to be cancelled three hours prior to the scheduled gates open time.

Event organisers Illusive & Offbeat Operations worked through the previous night and morning to give the event every chance to take place, including taking many extra precautions to ensure the safety of patrons. After much deliberation with the local emergency services, suppliers and contractors it was determined early on Sunday afternoon that it would not have been safe for the event to move forward as scheduled.

“When making the decision to postpone the event, many things were taken into account, none more so than the safety and security of our patrons. Based on the level of rainfall and adverse conditions it was deemed that the event site was not safe to proceed as planned.” - Adam Jankie (Chief Operations Officer at Illusive)

The concert will now move forward on Saturday 2nd of July at the Coffs Harbour Showground. The show line-up will still include local groups Ebb n Flo & Beats Working. Unfortunately Sydney’s Horrorshow and Las Vegas’ Big B will no longer be able to make the event due to prior commitments.

All current tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performance, where the original ticket should be presented at the venue on the new date. Ticketholders who are no longer able to attend the concert can seek a refund at their original point of purchase. All refunds must be advised to the respective ticket outlet by Wednesday 22nd June to remain eligible.

Remaining event tickets for the new show will be available from the existing outlets as of today.

The concert will now take place on Saturday 2nd July 2011 with gates scheduled to open at 3:00pm.
