Birds of Tokyo unveil new sound with "Anchor" and announce EP tour for May & June!

It's been a little while since we've seen Birds of Tokyo on the local front. Following a temporary relocation to the US to focus on introducing and having their music make an impact on the American industry, the Perth band have written and pulled together material for a brand new EP. Titled Anchor, the record is the first Birds of Tokyo fans have heard from Ian Kenny and his boys since their last album saw them tour Australia relentlessly. Time away has given the band a new and refreshed perspective on making music and with the EP eventually being finished upon the band's return home, it's clear that Birds of Tokyo are ready to get back in touch with Australian fans and show em what they've been up to.

Joining them on the road through June and July is one of our favourite new artists, Ecca Vandal, who has been making herself known around the country since 2014, most recently smashing live shows down the east coast and joining The Prodigy onstage too. These Birds of Tokyo shows will take the band to some smaller band rooms around the country for the first time in a little while, so don't miss your chance if you're a big fan of them, chances are these dates will sell out quick.
