Architecture In Helsinki and Children Collide will headline HyperFest 2011, joined by Illy, San Cisco and Brow Horn Orchestra.
One of Perth’s biggest and best all-ages music festival HyperFest is back August 28, set to again blow the roof off the most unique venue in Perth, the Midland Railway Workshops.
Fresh off some amazing shows since the release of their third album in May, Melbourne indie-pop six piece Architecture in Helsinki will be bringing the party to Midland this year.
Melbourne’s Children Collide have established themselves as one of Australia’s best indie rock bands since releasing their 2008 debut album The Long Now.
Building upon the momentum gathered from last year festival thanks to Art Vs Science, British India, Pez and plenty of fine local acts, this year’s HyperFest looks set to be better than ever.
An expanded lineup and event is set to house some of the finest talent this city has to offer with local acts The Stoops, I, Said The Sparrow, All Eyes On Saturn, Surrender and Antonio Paul, hitting the main stage.
As always our resident Force DJ’s will be spinning the tunes throughout the day. HyperFest is an All-Ages (13+) Drug, Smoke and Alcohol free event that would not be possible without the support of so many, including The City Of Swan, Healthway, Drug Aware, the Midland Redevelopment Authority, Lotterywest, triple j, The Drum Media, Xpress Magazine.
