Iconic Melbourne punk legends The Meanies have returned after a 21 year absence from recording with a new album in It's Not Me, It's You! Dropping in September, the record was inspired by the resurgence of bands and mates like Cosmic Psychos in recent times - we need some of that rock flavour back in our lives, right? With an east coast tour scheduled for October too, we can't wait to see what antics come as a result.
In This Issue: We're keeping it mellow this week as the winter chills have been setting in all over the country, we have Josh Pyke celebrating his fans, the new one from The Maccabees, and compelling tributes from Gurrumul Yunupingu and WE LOST THE SEA.

In This Issue: This week we have some powerful releases lined up from the raw vocals of Gin Wigmore to the return of the Refused after a 17 year wait, while also featuring the local likes of Born Lion and Kaurna Cronin.
In This Issue: Releases are few in numbers this week, much like the hours of sunlight in these miserable winter days. Thankfully, however, quality over quantity is the order of the day, with some top-notch artists pumping out brand new material.
At just 17, Baro has the world paying attention to his unique hip hop sound, with comparisons to the likes of Earl Sweatshirt, Joey Bada$$ and King Krule. Following the success of his debut mixtape HOWGOODISGOOD?, which dropped about 12 months back, he's set to release his debut EP. Dubbed 17/18, the release (and its title) marks him turning 18, and will come out on July 10th via teamtrick.

Melbournians Ocean Grove and Brisbanians Interim get a run, while internationals such as Mika and Adam Lambert are also looking to capitalise on everyone keeping warm, rugging up on the couch, and listening to new music while the shitty winter weather sets in.
In This Issue: It’s an Australian and British-dominated affair this week, with albums dropping from huge names such as Sarah Blasko, Muse, and Young Guns.
Talk about a super star collaboration... Australia's Flume has enlisted the iconic vocals of Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow) to deliver a killer track in "Some Minds", which had its world premiere on triple j earlier today. There's a special video to accompany the release, and it's a collaboration between the Sydney Opera House, director Clemens Habicht and Flume. It features choreography and dance from Australian Ballet member Callum Linnane. You can watch it here:
In This Issue: With far fewer releases than usual it looks like everyone is heading into hibernation for the winter! Can’t blame them, the weather sucks. Here to warm you up though is the debut vinyl release from Kasumuen Records, Simply Red return after an eight year hiatus, and Kiwi rockers Cairo Knife Fight kick things off with their debut record.
The Hard Aches, a melodic punk rock band from Adelaide, have spent the last few years touring in support of their debut EP, Organs & Airports. Now they are back with their recently released their debut album Pheromones, and are about to head off on a national tour to celebrate the release..
