JACK’S MANNEQUIN
Orange County rockers Jack’s Mannequin are set to drop their third album People and Things on February 10th, just ahead of their Australian visit as part of the 2012 Soundwave Festival.

PVT
Aussie trio PVT have kicked off 2012 by releasing five bonus tracks and B-sides on January 19th from their highly acclaimed 2010 album, Church With No Magic. A wonderful start to the year for PVT fans who are eagerly awaiting the band’s fourth album which is slated for a mid-late 2012 release.

DANIEL ROSSEN
Daniel Rossen, of Grizzly Bear and Department of Eagles, is set to release his debut solo EP Silent Hour/Golden Mile on March 16th via Inertia Music. The EP is a departure from the usual style that Rossen writes and the songs are, according to Rossen, ‘about unease with the world around you, about indeterminacy in your own life and the ability somehow to navigate both.’

NINE SONS OF DAN
Nine Sons of Dan have recently released their album She's So Fine and with it an iTunes exclusive, including the single and previously unreleased acoustic version of the song. STRAIGHT TO YOU: TRIPLE J’S TRIBUTE TO NICK CAVE
First it was Paul Kelly and now Triple J have assembled some of Australia’s finest to pay tribute to the legendary recordings of Nick Cave. Straight To You: Triple J’s Tribute to Nick Cave will be released as a 2CD set on February 10th and the DVD of the concert will be released March 2nd.

BLEEDING KNEES CLUB
Gold Coast garage-surf-punk duo Bleeding Knees Club will drop their debut album Nothing To Do on March 2nd. Named by NME as one of the 50 Best New Bands of 2011, 2012 is looking to be even bigger for Jordan and Alex.

JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE
Nothing’s Gonna Change The Way You Feel About Me Now is the fourth album from Nashville artist Justin Townes Earle. To be released March 23rd via Inertia Music, the album will be out just in time for Justin’s tour of Australia which starts in Sydney on the 4th of April.

THE SUMMER SET
Another band touring here for the 2012 Soundwave Festival is Arizona’s The Summer Set who release their sophomore album Everything’s Fine come February 10th. A record about breaking up, growing up and everything in between.

Out Friday 3rd February, Vanishing Tekopia is the newest release from the David Chesworth Ensemble. An interesting fact: the two singers of the ensemble created a new language to sing in specifically for Vanishing Tekopia.
