In This Issue: We're continuing to tone things down as the end of the year is just around the corner, featuring some golden soul, jazz and bluegrass releases set to come out early next year. From Gaga with an orchestra, to Jimmy Barnes' daughter taking on Betty Davis it's time to get soulful this holiday.

Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga

Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek To Cheek LIVE! is the first full concert appearance available on DVD and Blu-ray on January 16th, featuring the songs from the Grammy nominated album performed with a 39 piece orchestra.

Dan Mangan + Blacksmith

Two-time JUNO Award winner Dan Mangan + Blacksmith will release their new collaborative album Club Med” on January 17 via Create/Control and Arts & Crafts. The partnership features sweeping hazy arrangements, anthemic melodies and haunting atmospherics.

With Confidence

Australian alternative group With Confidence have just announced their new EP Distance which will be released on January 13th 2015.

Kid Rock

Kid Rock announces his new album First Kiss will be released on February 20th. The album, his first on Warner Bros. Records, was produced by Kid Rock (with the exception of two songs which were co-produced by Dann Huff) and was recorded at his studio in Michigan.

Curtis Harding

ANTI- Records are honoured to welcome Curtis Harding to the family. His debut album Soul Power will be released in Australia on January 23, 2015.

The Reverb Conspiracy

European label Fuzz Club Records and the American Reverberation Appreciation Society (founders of Austin Psych Fest) are set to co-release The Reverb Conspiracy Volume III on the 25th January 2015. As usual, the compilation is entirely curated by the Fuzz Club and features some of the best acts of the contemporary Psych scene in Europe, including a collaboration of Goat and Anton Newcombe.

Jef Neve

After more than a decade of traveling around the globe, Belgian jazz pianist Jef Neve, will be releasing his first solo album One in January 2015 through Universal / Sinfini music.

Mahalia Barnes and The Soul Mates

Powerhouse singer Mahalia Barnes and her band The Soul Mates have teamed up with American blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa to release an album of Betty Davis covers called Ooh Yea! – The Betty Davis Songbook. Scheduled for release on February 24, 2015, it explores tracks from Davis’ sexy, raw funk records of the early ‘70s.
