Genre-defying US trio Akron/Family will be returning to Australia this September/October on their AKAK Dreamtime Tour, with tracks from their latest and highly acclaimed album S/T II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT in tow.
Akron/Family are thrilled to announce Sydney’s one and only mind-bending, psychedelic juggernaut Richard In Your Mind, who will be getting the Akron/Family party started in Melbourne and Sydney! Formed in 2006 and currently on a quest to cover, in chronological order, the entire Beatles catalogue; Richard In Your Mind have tracks Please Please Me and Love Me Do at radio right now, and a brilliant new album coming out in September.
Amalgamating soaring harmonies, pastoral chants, rolling percussion and driving guitars set against an expansive aural backdrop, Akron/Family are a veritable polyphonic tour de force.
